Blasdell

Taught two classes at Blasdell, and loved every minute. Kids were great. Taught all the Upperbodies, Taikyoku, Heian Shodan, and gave Brianne her second stripe. Yellows and oranges worked on Seisan, Seiunchin, and Kimberly did Naihanchi. Finished with breakfall work. Black Belt kids worked with the younger ones to warm up, and we did Bassai Dai for 30 minutes, Then we grappled. They learned a lot of moves and worked a good sweat up. Dan and Ian loved it.

What a great class tonight! People worked hard, absorbed and internalized what was taught. We worked on a thorough warm-up, then taught the new 10 movement form. Followed by 12, 24, 16 sword, 32 sword, broadsword. We worked using legs, internal connection, proper shape of the fist. Diane, Judy, Phyliss did an awesome broadsword! Then Diane led Chinese Yoga! What a great feel to the night.
